At 5'10 and 60+ I wear mostly around 3 inches. For me, heels give me an extra boost in feeling totally confident and unstoppable - personally and professionally. Love this! I live in sneakers these days so this is totally my vibe. At 5'9" I don't need the additional height of heels and at 50+ I don't need the discomfort. I'm slowly getting rid of my heels because they are only taking up space in my closet. I now have a wardrobe of sneakers and I love it! ❤️

I am a huge fan of Allbirds tennis shoes, because they can be worn without socks (I hate wearing socks.), made of breathable material (eucalyptus trees) and they are washable. The cool weather versions are wool. I have several pairs and love them all.

Since I'm a so called old schooled fashionista I don't think I can cross that bridge and wear athletic type shoes with anything that isn't paired with athleisure wear. I enjoy the arch support you get with a comfortable pair of heels & boots, quality makes a huge difference. Not much of a fan of flats due to lack of arch support.

Hi Dominque, loved the video. Went to NYC last year for an event and wore my NB Sneakers (similar to the ones you showed) with almost everything I took for daytime events. I wore with a suit, long maxi dress, jeans and athleisure wear. I am a NO Socks gal with my tennis shoes - I just do not like the way it feels unless it is frigid outside. Lol! Sneakers are very comfortable, but my feet feel very hot after a few hours. I wear Sketchers, light in weight and airy. Almost every woman in Holland is wearing sneakers under every look, every day. I miss the more feminine look on the streets here. In summer, espadrille shoes, with or without wedge heels, are nice too.
