Sir,plz explain and solve this question,find the number of solutions of sin (πx)+x^2 +x+1=0,using class 11 trigonometry concepts,I tried to solve it but I was unable if we draw the graph we see that there are two unique intersecting points i.e,two solutions but how to show it without graph by using trigonometry, algebra,etc,we are easily able to show 0≤x≤2 ,and x=1 is a trivial solution,I was also able to show that there exist no solution for 0<x<1,and x=0,2 (the endpoints) don't satisfy the equation,also we can easily see that for 0<x<2 , solution may exist,but how to proceed from here,this is a pre dpp question of vibrant academy
