I tried Amalyn in the early 200's and boy did my bg's plummet! I started with small doses and gradually still couldn’t continue. I guess it was just too strong for my body.

I started to use the Libre 3+ in May so transition to Twiist will be easier. I was on the very first Dexcom, didn’t work, since 2014 and will never go back to Dexcom again! The Libre is so close to my finger sticks and I love that there’s never an issue where I need to calibrate. Yes, I know you can’t calibrate it. I totally trust it I never trusted any Dexcom

Former 3month, then 6month Eversense user, now Dexcom user.
I REALLY MISS my Eversense. I HATE Dexcom G7 having to replace every 10 days and far too often I have bad sensors or implants... resulting in constant frustration with hoping the G7 will work properly.
GlucoTrak looks even better.... hopefully I can get into a trial

I'm giving up on it all, insurance just informed me my glucometer isn't blessed any longer and only their preferred - no longer made as of this year models only are.
Since the strips are now no longer also made, obviously the disease must've been cured or the disease is now illegal.

Current eversense doesn't appeal to me as it is in a fixed spot and the transmitter is very large and bulky. If the transmitter is implanted as well then I have concern about battery life.

As a medtronic user this statement is not at all satisfactory. Until I hear a proper plan of action with clear targets and dates, what are they really saying?
They’re “working”. But no why, what or when? Not acceptable at this point.
Besides that the newer batch of Simplera sync seems to be getting better - on the fourth one that lasted seven days. Some is good as well…

Great show! I've been wondering for a while about concentrated insulins like U-200 and U-500. If tubeless pumps get to the point where you could wear them for 7 days, we'd need these formulations... or a huge reservoir. I still feel like the weakest link in my AID system is bluetooth connectivity.

I am excited about Twiist and ready for Android's to be added. When it does, I will change over for sure. I am also very interested in eversense 365. I am really considering this combination.

I’m sure this is patient dependent, but is there any evidence that anybody is aware of on how long newly implanted beta cells might last even if they were not protected and eventually died off because of the autoimmune component? Like I would be ok with an annual top off haha.

I was hospitalized with DKA a few years ago. This was my first hospitalization after 27 years of very well-controlled type 1. Blood sugar was good, worked out that morning, felt great, but then suddenly sick after lunch. It was so bad I couldn’t stand up without my heart racing. The hospital said I had COVID, but also I was on a low card diet and I had been taking Farxiga for a few years. I stopped taking Farxiga, but I’m still low carb. No problems since then. I didn’t know until watching this video that low carb diets can cause ketones.

Libre's accuracy is NOT approaching Dexcom's. That is the most absurd thing I've heard said their sensor, I think maybe ever. I feel like Libre would literally kill me with how inaccurate it is and in inconsistent directions with no way to calibrate. Garbage sensor. Twiist sounds like it might be good in theory but not in combination with Libre. The lack of calibration is way more important than lack of follow app. It makes the sensor completely unusable for some people.
