At a Munich restaurant, a server tips a large bottle fitted with an unusual glass attachment before rotating it over a tasting glass. Rather than simply directing the stream, the device temporarily holds a predetermined quantity of liquid before dispensing it.
The design uses a glass measuring chamber built directly into the pourer. Tilting the bottle fills the chamber, lifting the bottle separates that measured portion from the remaining liquid, and rotating the assembly allows the captured serving to flow into the glass. Saints Pour produces versions designed for 1 oz (30 mL) and 1.5 oz (45 mL) servings.
By integrating portion measurement into the bottle itself, the device eliminates the separate measuring step normally performed with a jigger or shot glass. It turns a simple gravity-fed pour into a repeatable measuring and dispensing process while also creating a distinctive tableside presentation.
