I think Taylors team gave Freedman more than just the information about the extortion. He only told us that because he wanted to get it in that court filing so we, the public, could learn how dirty they are.
I think it's very possible that she also gave the texts that blake wanted deleted (and possibly more).
Which would be useful later if needed ( and may very well ruin blake's entire case) because at any point, Blake could still leak personal texts of Taylors anyway
