After the AMAs ceremony, I realized what a hidden message Taylor Nation sent us with the number "26":
Billie Eilish opens "Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour" in a T-shirt with the "26" logo (in Quebec).
And only now did it dawn on me that "12" is not TS's twelfth album, but indicates the pronunciation of the first two letters of the alphabet: (A)lish (B)illie.
It turns out that:
1. Taylor Nation received information from the AMAs management about the upcoming winner in advance - this is good,
2. Fan voting is not the main factor in determining the winners of the AMAs - this is bad.
What's the bottom line?

I didn't stay up for this so am now watching this back. 20 min in your forgetting 1 option. Taylor did clown for the AMA's and had something to release and all the 26's were correct but she did not win so she could not announce. Because let's be real Billie and Gracie both taped an acceptance so they knew in advance. So I think Taylor knew that she did not win beforehand and that is why TN was so quiet the last few days.
Presales count from 30 days before release if they are shipped then or something and count towards the first week of sales.
What the Grammys changed I think is that rereleases have to have a certain amount of new tracks to be able to be in the running.
Regarding the clowning there are 2 things I do not like:
1 The trying to math towards a specific date because a 2 and a 6 could be 26, 62, 12, 3, 64, 36 etc
2 The 5 steps from a piece of clothing to something that Taylor likes to a release, that's just going to far imo.

I just don't believe it. I voted for Taylor so many times and I usually do not vote at all. How could she not win touring artist of the year!?!? She had the biggest tour of all time! There is no competition. She lifted the economy in every single country she went to. I'm literally shocked. I just don't buy it. We think things are fan based voted. There is nothing in America that is truly fan based. It's all political. If they wanted Taylor to win they would have. They are sending a message to her that's it's time for other artists to win and if they went by her fans and her success she would win every time, so they have to change things for the purpose of giving the entire music industry as whole a chance to succeed as well and other artists because if there is nothing for them to work towards they start to feel defeated. You just can't believe anything is truly fan based. It's definitely not.

The fact that the award ceremony ended before almost 10 other awards were announced tells me everything I need to know about how CBS and this production is going to run from now on. I bet they felt bad for Billie after she cried at the Grammys and I’m glad she won a lot, but Taylor getting her crowd applause cut and not winning best touring artists is bs. When you’re practically assured the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in something like 6 years, all these smaller awards suddenly lose meaning. I only watched the first hour of it and there wasn't any award Taylor was nominated for during that hour so I stopped watching and knew that probably nothing would happen. I’m usually somewhat on board with the clowning sometimes, I see theories that blow my mind and I'm clowning in the moment but I don't get my hopes up too high. I'm just wondering what you two think about the lack of awards. I'm stunned she didn't win Artist of the Year and Touring Artist. I voted under 2 accounts every day and I've never voted before. I understand Billie is currently on tour so that has something to do with it. I never believe in conspiracy stories, but I'm honestly wondering if someone sabotaged the votes that came in. Taylor had 3.5 billion ticket requests for the Eras Tour bring Ticketmaster down. And those were people who thought they could afford it. Hi! Just wanted to say that it’s part of the journey to have things go sideways, coast and go downhill especially when it just makes no sense. However trusting that Taylor is writing some excellent songs because she is a queen. She’s just busy and thrilled with some downtime. Never has she worked so diligently and for so long with the tour. Plus things are just strange now - on many levels. Perhaps the Swifty’s didn’t vote because they thought that she would win like she usually does. Trump unfortunately is taking credit. That’s disappointing considering she is choosing to lay low after a grueling schedule. What a gift solitude is for her. I am looking forward to her next launch of her music.

I don't believe "fan vote" numbers are true. BUT I also think Taylor, for some reason, is on some sort of black list. She hasn't won anything in a long time. I also think the major change in music she did for TTPD, I am not sure was as welcomed as her normal type music. I like it but I had to listen a few times until it grew on me. She has a much younger fan base and TTPD might not be what they like. Honestly, if you look at the top artists right now, they are all much younger. I feel like Taylor may be aging out, which we knew was coming. She doesn't even seem to be into it any more either. Since she met Travis I honestly think she is moving into another chapter in her life. Billie is only in her 20's? She was 19 when she came on the music scene so she has some years left. That world tour Taylor just finished might be the last big tour she does. Just my opinion. She ended the tour and disappeared. I figured she would not be there.

I hate to be a downer here but Taylor has lost a lot of fans through this Lively drama. The Eras Tour ended on a sour note and then the complaint by Blake was dropped just a couple of weeks later and the sourness has continued. She was never going to be able to maintain the level of success she achieved within the last two years but this complaint has really been a catalyst for the downfall. It's unfortunate that she didn't release the last two TV'S during the last couple legs of the tour because the hype as smouldered for sure. She's staying out of sight and I don't even know that TS12 will come to fruition. She wrote that during a time where she was on a high and I doubt that she's in that headspace anymore. What a difference a few months can make. Wild.

I have a hard time being surprised that she doesn’t go when you look at what ppl (production) and owners are behind this award. Like look at what artists performed and were not even there live (Blake and Gwen, Janet (IYKYK), what many of the influencers there have leanings to. Look at what advertisers they had and what was that vibe and leaning towards? And what the owner of the production company and Billboard behind the AMA’s is pushing for and supporting an agenda and person that literally says straight up ”I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT”. And just look at what caliber of artists and people that did not even go this year. It was clearly so low quality and some weird vibes. This may not be a popular opinion, but she has been on this entire roller coaster for a very long time. I’m hoping that Taylor is rolling her eyes and living her very best life, happy, on vacation and not missing a beat about this. She has already won. At life. At everything. She doesn’t need their approval. Anything she puts out is entirely because she chooses too. The awards were important to her earlier in her career but now.. she won everything and the awards are irrelevant. When she decides to put out Rep TV I will be super excited and grateful!
