Maybe she is not THE ABSOLUTE BEST vocalist on the planet but she's damn good. Plus it's brilliantly emphasized in the video too that really Taylor is an ingenious and masterful storyteller, that's the invisible string that ties Swifties together and even strikes a chord with anyone who truly opens themselves up to a human soul being poured onto paper and channelized into art. However, I'd argue she is prolific 'cuz prolific literally means producing a lot and I don't know about anyone else, but I can't keep up with the sheer volume of work that she has put out in the past few years alone! ?

The way you guys have just decided that she's not an amazing singer and downplay her vocals is just sad. The stereotype that she's not a good singer is just old. She delivers 3.5 hours shows, has amazing lower register, sings to the best of her ability just so someone can say oh she's not. What more does a person have to do to deserve credit where it's due. Not everyone has to sing like ariana for you guys to deem them worthy.

Have u ever tried to kareoke any of her songs. They are hard. I think youre mistaking good singers for show off singers. SHe sings to deliver a story and just cuz shes not belting doesnt mean what shes doing isnt difficult. Also she is one of the MOST prolific artists in this generation there's not even any room for debate about that

As a swiftie, I think Taylor's biggest strength is the way she relates to her audience building fans who follow her. I myself love songs with great music and singers with a melodious or unique voice but that limits me to liking certain songs from their albums. For Taylor, she built her brand around the concept that many people from different age groups facing different situations in life can relate to her maybe because of her public image, the way she carries herself or her lyrics. Thus, she might not be as great a vocalist like maybe adele or celine dion but he retains fans that are there for her more than fans that are here looking for good music (ie the vocalist sides)

I totally see where you're coming from, Avanti, and I agree with you to an extent. But I also think Taylor is undeniably one of the most prolific artists in the industry. She releases albums almost every other year, each packed with 15–20 songs, sometimes even more. Add to that the re-recordings, vault tracks, and the Eras Tour, and it's clear she’s been anything but idle.
Prolific means producing a lot of something, especially in a productive or creative way. By that definition, I think it’s unfair to say she isn’t prolific.
