So pink clouding means "a recovering person feels exhilaration and enthusiasm for addiction treatment during early recovery". The songs is theorized to be about Tom Hiddleston, which would fit. He was her exhilaration and enthusiasm as she was recovering from the Kim/Kanye snakegate. Especially when she says "You met me at a cursed time, I told you I was fine." (which also references The Getaway Car with "I knew it from the first Old Fashioned, we were cursed".
And where she sings about "He cut me crimson, bled me dry" it's a reference to Tom starring in Crimson Peak and playing a vampire in Only lovers Left Alive. Though I think (I might be wrong) that this line is about Calvin because she dated them very close together and she did the same in Getaway Car where Calvin was "he" and Tom was "you"/"us". She did the same here. HE (Calvin" cut me crimson, bled me dry", YOU (Tom) "were so good, that's why you haunt me like you should"/"I hope you landed safely on the ground", etc.

I think those "fans" just want her to stay sad and depressed forever. And the thing that pisses me off the most is that they are saying that it's because of Joe that the folklore and evermore albums were amazing. Talking about the vault tracks, I feel like that was one of Taylor's frustrations with Big Machine. She had songs that were ready to go but the label required going by the Nashville formula and not giving people too much for their money. Save those songs for the next project and by then, she's already moved into a new phase of life.
Whereas now it seems that she entirely controls her own narrative and if she wants to put out multiple projects during a pandemic with virtually no notice, then sure, they're on board with that. A double-album without hyping a double-album, no problem, you do you, Taylor.
