Ladies, I have to thank you.  I had heard Taylor's music on the radio, but when she started dating Travis (who I was more aware of then Taylor), I gave her more time, and somehow one day found you two.  I'm so glad I did.... you've helped me understand Taylor's struggles, and you've really helped me understand why Swifties love her so much.  I had never heard Reputation as a whole album, and only a couple radio played songs from Debut.  I'm so glad to have you along for this ride.  I feel like I got on the Swiftie bus at TTPD, but I'm working on catching up and appreciate your help doing that!  Thank you!

The glass ceiling has finally shattered and it's not just a man's world anymore. People equating re-recording to some sort of scam need to remember that owning her work was only part of it. Changing the music industry was also on the table. Spite is a great motivator. There is nothing she does better than revenge.

I want Rep TV so bad because she’s grown so much as an artist & it would have been a killer album . I’m 51 & have clowned with my 28 yr old daughter for Rep TV. She’s a life long Swiftie, myself on the other hand it’s fairly new. Taylor won me over with the Eras Tour 2 years ago this month. Ryan seriously made me feel so validated. I'm absolutely elated for Taylor, but I was so overwhelmed when it was first announced yesterday and I kind of still am. lol Fellow anxiety girly here, and there are so many unknowns and things that we just took for granted were true (like Rep TV is fully recorded and we'll be getting it any day now) that weren't true at all. And as an anxiety girly, I HATE unknowns. lol You guys were trying to compare it to something, I'd say it's like you've been planning a party with your best friend for a really long time, and you're super excited for it, but then last minute it gets cancelled because your best friend got married. You're extremely happy for her, and know that's wayyyy more important than the party, but you're still a little sad the party isn't happening.

You guys were talking about what this is like for a newer Swiftie, I told you guys this on a livestream a while back but idk if you remember, I'm what I call a "renewed" Swiftie. I listened beginning in the debut area and then fell off during Speak Now. So I'd heard debut and I was a bad girl and listened to Rep (before I really understood the whole re-recording thing and why it was so important), but I had NEVER heard the original version of Red or parts of 1989 and Speak Now. So this past day of hearing these albums for the first time has been so much fun for me.

I also very much feel like TS12 is in the room with us. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like we're gonna get an announcement very soon.

I am hoping for Rep deluxe (or whatever) just to buy it physically, same with Debut. I didn't go full Swiftie until 2023. I had the OG fearless cd, but it is long gone lost to my 2001 Saturn. The tracks are still on a flash drive from when I cleaned out my old MP3 player, but only my favorites from that time. I was always a casual fan since I saw the video for Teardrops on my Guitar video waiting for my ride to pick me up for school.

I have since bought all but  Debut, Fearless, Rep, and Lover since my entrainment bugget is like $30 a month. I have been holding out for Debut and Rep (fearless and lover were gonna be next).

I didn't feel shame if there wasn't a Taylor's Version. But, if an OG came up on an outdated playlist or something?, I did feel guilty. Now, if we could only get Picture to Burn (homophobic version).

22:00- Rewatching this because I came in at the end of the stream… and something just popped into my brain- I gotta spit it out! The Karma music video… the ‘hell’ scene/ Rep scene in the video… the wave! Like, bye. She was trying to tell everyone she didn’t want to do it (if she didn’t have to). Oh man. She’s literally singing about ‘good’ karma and trying to say she doesn’t want to revisit the negative head space she was in while recording Rep!
I don’t know how, but if you can look back, one of the first videos of yours I watched, I left a comment, before I boarded the clown car, and it said something to the effect of she might just be thinking that there was too much raw emotion left for that album and she might just tell ? he can’t keep that one. Just might not re-record it. I was just coming from a place of personal trauma and thinking, I wouldn’t want to have to revisit those feelings and try to improve upon expressing them. Like, I said how I felt and imma leave it right there, ya know?

I was so happy for her. I immediately started clowning about other things. I am the biggest clown! I started clowning about what type of stinking deal she’s gonna make. I know she blocked those for the most part with all of her older Work cause she didn’t have the rights and the fact that we see Two main shows using her work. I can’t wait to see what she does with that. And how she could release some of the tour information with backstage footage that she has and kind of re-formulate in a tour videos or to footage is exciting and you know for rep she’s gonna do something with that tour. I listened to the entirety of Rep, then the entirety of Debut, then the entirety of Fearless. Today I started with Red. After All Too Well (I forgot how good the OG was) I had to go and listen to All Too Well 10 a few times. Usually if I listen to the 5 min version, I have to go and then listen to the 10 min one. I felt like Ryan at first, but then reminded myself that our girl is in her era! This is her era! She is winning at everything that is truly important in life. Love, family, career, etc. She is truly living & loving her best life! ❤ I may get some hate from this but I'm sooo ready for Taylor to just go relax & enjoy life! Girl has been busy! I couldn't even imagine doing half of what she does! I feel overworked & ran down being a stay at home mom! It's exhausting! Taylor has broken so many barriers & boundaries in the music industry & she is still soooooo young! She needs a vacation. A long vacation. I'm here for her taking time out of the lime light & spending time with Travis. All I know is I'm happy with just the Rep Vault tracks. I know that whatever new music that comes out from this era that Taylor is in, will be fire ?!!

Holy Crap! I didn't notice when I was reading the letter, but yeah! Taylor has three kinds of Ts!  Upper-case with the crossbar at the top, lower-case 1 is the same height as the upper-case but the crossbar is a little lower, and lower-case 2 which is a normal lower-case T. Jeez.

I don't care what people say, even if her IQ is 160, she is living proof that IQ doesn't matter so much as how you use it. She may be the smartest person I have ever heard of.

There was a comment in the chat in the video that said something like the TV project deprives the original session musicians of money who worked on the originals. I'm pretty sure it's highly unusual for session musicians to make money on royalties (i.e. streams). I believe the industry standard is that session musicians are paid like contract workers, like they get paid for the work they do whether or not the song comes out, and that's all. It's usually the main artist(s), producer(s), and writer(s) who get paid when you stream (plus label/corporate owners and the streaming service.)

It’s sad to say, but without her losing her albums not only would we not have gotten vault tracks, we wouldn’t have gotten folklore because that album was HEAVILY inspired by the seeking of her masters to Scooter Braun. Which means she wouldn’t have continued writing, so no evermore. And let’s be real “midnights across my life” was probs inspired by her going back and re-recording all her old albums, so a foot chunk of Midnights wouldn’t have existed

The annual return for her catalog was originally estimated to be valued at  $80 to 100 million per year. Scooter sold the catalog to Shamrock with a sharing interest. TV cut into those earnings considerably, which lowered it to something like 40 million, with a significant portion going to the writers. Taylor also controlled the approval to use any song from her back catalog for commercial purposes. Shamrock is a Disney adjacent company, and I think they are interested in working with Taylor as she is in the Disney target demographic. Her tour definitely helped her pay for the purchase. $360 Million is a HUGE amount of money, easily 1/3 of her wealth, and thanks to her TV re-records, the ROI on her ownership isn’t has fast, but it was her dream and she worked hard for it.

I feel the same way about the letter like it didn’t give me the most confidence that we would get debut tv like girl it’s finished PLEASE and don’t make me wait until October or next year.
