The members include TAEMIN from SHINee, a group known as the leaders of K-Pop; BAEKHYUN and KAI from EXO, the megahit K-Pop group with over 1 million album sales; TAEYONG and MARK from NCT 127, the global powerhouse; and LUCAS and TEN from WayV, China’s most popular boy group. The group released its first mini-album ‘SuperM’ in October 2019 becoming the first Asian artist to reach No. 1 on Billboard’s main chart, Billboard 200, with a debut album. The group further proved their global popularity with No. 1 spots on ‘Artist 100’, ‘Top Album Sales’, ‘Digital Albums’, ‘World Albums’, ‘Top Current Albums’, ‘Internet Albums’, and ‘World Digital Song Sales’ charts. Shortly after their debut, the group embarked on their successful first world tour ‘We Are The Future Live’ in major North American cities including Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and Seattle; along with shows in Paris and London, further proving their mass international appeal. In September 2020, SuperM released their first full-length album ‘Super One’ following the releases of their lead singles ‘100’ and ‘Tiger Inside.’ The album debuted at No. 2 on ‘Billboard 200’ as well as No. 1 on various music charts in Korea.
